The Houston Pride Band will be hosting a conference of the Pride Bands Alliance (formerly Lesbian and Gay Band Association) bringing together musicians from thirty member bands nationwide. Along with daily rehearsals and social events, the participating musicians will also enjoy instrumental clinics, administrative workshops, transgender awareness presentations, and conductor roundtable discussions.

The highlight of the conference weekend will be the massed band performance of Bigger and Brighter concert. The conference has an expected participation of over 250 musicians from around the country. The Houston Pride Band is honored to share a stage with fellow musicians from across the country for a weekend of music, visibility, and pride.

Putting on an event such as this requires a lot of effort and in order to truly showcase what Houston has to offer, we need your help.
